Grim Soul Anniversary
Festive activities
On this day, we're the ones giving gifts! As tradition goes, during the anniversary update, upon first logging into the game, Exiles receive:
  • A commemorative chest
  • The Nameless Mercy Talisman, allowing you to resurrect at your home location with your entire inventory intact
Until the release of Update 8.1.0, instead of Barrels of Honey and Flasks of Water, you will receive 2 Sweet Pies and 2 Sour Milks. Enjoy!

Elemental boss battles
Everyone's coming to the celebration!

During the update, expect the arrival of Halt Coldbane, Harid, Fire Incarnate, and Vragna, Daughter of Decay.

Sir Rihardt has prepared special tasks for battles against the elemental bosses. In Update 8.0.0, he will visit the Plaguelands three times.

Boat
The time has come to conquer the river's waters. Western Lubenia awaits!
The final boat component – the Tiller – is now available, allowing Exiles to complete construction.
And to get more Exiles sailing, in Update 8.0.0 boat parts can be obtained not only in locations, but also from a special chest at the Quartermaster's.

Boat levels
At the moment, only the first boat level is available to Exiles, and you'll have to travel light. We plan to increase the number of available levels in future updates.

Boat travel
Exiles can moor their boat at the Eastern Lubenia Dock and the Western Lubenia Dock.
Travel between these two destinations consumes boat durability. Durability can be restored using boat parts: Canvas, Mast, Tiller, Yard, and Oar.

When sailing from the Eastern Dock, you cannot spend more durability than the boat currently has.

Western Lands

The Western Lands are vast. At the moment, two points on the map of this region are available to Exiles.
Question marks indicate mysterious locations that will become available to Exiles in the future.

Western Lubenia Dock
The Western Lubenia Dock serves as the "home location" of the Western Lands. If an Exile dies on the far side of the river, they will resurrect at the Dock.

The location contains four chests, each of which can be upgraded up to 25 slots. There will be plenty of space to store resources gathered.

Silver Mine
General information
Long before the time of the Gray Decay, silver ore with unusual properties was mined here.
The mining was carried out by imprisoned convicts, sentenced for crimes against the church and the Empire. Due to brutal working conditions, overseer cruelty, and the ever-growing demands of the Empire, not a single hardened criminal ever returned from this exile.
This continued until the miners disturbed something ancient that had slumbered deep underground for centuries.
Through carelessness, the thin boundary between Shobol and the world of the living was damaged, and the power of the Nameless seeped into the mine, twisting and corrupting all who came into contact with it.
The mine was hastily sealed and abandoned, but sometimes, in the silence, the distant sound of pickaxes can still be heard – even in death, the miners continue their work, now in the service of another master.

The Silver Mine is the most dangerous dungeon yet, meant only for the strongest Exiles.
The location consists of two parts.
  • The surface area is the descent into the mine. Here, the Exile can still choose to turn back. To leave the mine alive, you must clear it to the very end.
  • The mine itself is a procedurally generated location made up of tunnels and chambers. This is where Corrupted Silver Ore can be found.
Caution! Inside the mine, healing restores three times less health under the influence of dark forces.

New enemies
Within the mine, Exiles will face enemies never before encountered in Lubenia. Fortunately, all of them are vulnerable to decay damage.

Shobol-Touched Miner
  • Relatively weak. Fights with a pickaxe, heals when attacking, and ignores part of the player's armor.
Shobol-Touched Sapper
  • Cannot fight in melee. Uses only explosive projectiles. Explodes upon death, dealing damage around them.
Shobol-Touched Overseer
  • Uses a shout to summon allies. Stop the summoning by freezing or stunning the enemy.
  • Can apply bleeding and attacks both in melee and at range. Ranged attacks apply fear to the Exile.
  • Can summon up to four skeletons for assistance, though only one per summon.
Unstable Bone Golem
  • The most dangerous enemy deep within the mine.
  • Increases its movement and attack speed at the cost of reduced damage.
  • Its health constantly decreases, but it can heal itself. Try to freeze or stun it to stop regeneration. An Ice Rune will greatly aid you in battle.
  • Even if you manage to neutralize the golem, it may return from death more than once, fully restoring its health. Fortunately, after defeat, it forgets about you and returns to its lair.

Corrupted Silver Ore
A unique resource that can only be obtained in the mine.
Combined with Soul Shards, it can be smelted into Enchanted Silver Ingots in the Blast Furnace.
  • These ingots are required by the Exile to build the Ritual Circle and to create talismans.

The event is available to all Exiles from level 6 and will last for 3 weeks.

Complete tasks, earn points, and unlock unique rewards, including three types of panniers from the game's past anniversary: the Grim Soul Pannier, the Grim Soul Traveling Pannier, and the Luxury Grim Soul Pannier.

After the Hunt ends, you will have 3 days to claim all earned rewards. If something especially caught your eye but you couldn't reach it in time, you can always purchase Scarlet Hunt Seals in the store.

New items
New tools – Iron Axe and Pickaxe
  • No designs are required. After reaching level 100, the Iron Axe and Iron Pickaxe automatically become available for crafting.
  • The Pickaxe is required to mine Corrupted Silver.
  • The Axe won't be useful just yet, but having a few in reserve won't hurt.
Heavy Bandage
  • Restores 150 HP and removes bleeding.
  • If you find one, it's best saved for expeditions into the mine.

New set – Paladin Set
  • Each individual armor piece increases incoming healing by 5%.
  • The full set provides an additional 50%.
