Update 7.4.0
02.07.2025
Exiles!
Prepare to plunge into the Scarlet Hunt in update 7.4.0.
New tasks, special rewards, and much more await you!
All details lie below.

Scarlet Hunt

Daily Tasks
We've revised our daily task list. Tasks that failed to resonate with our exiles have been reworked. Some were made easier, others moved to later stages of the game. The dullest tasks have been removed entirely.
Now, it's less likely that you'll receive a task that cannot be completed at your current level.
We've also updated the daily tasks interface to make it easier to see which tasks are still locked and how to unlock them.

Weekly Tasks
We listened closely to your feedback on the last Scarlet Hunt. Many of our exiles wanted more tasks — and we're happy to oblige!
On days 1, 8, and 15 of the Hunt, additional quests will become available.
Four new quests each week: two open to all exiles, and two exclusive to those with the Master or Grandmaster Codes.
Don't worry if you're not yet a seasoned traveler of the Plaguelands! These tasks are not difficult, but they may take a bit more time to complete.

Inspiration Points Changes
With the return of more tasks, we are rebalancing inspiration points to keep things fair:
  • The inspiration multiplier is reduced from ×10 to ×5.
  • The cap is lowered from 20,000 to 10,000.
  • Points are now earned less frequently: 1,000 points will be granted once every 6 hours.
But don't despair — completing weekly tasks fully offsets the difference.

Grandmaster Code
Feel something’s missing without the Letters?
For exiles like you, we're introducing the Scarlet Hunter Code: Grandmaster. Think of it as Letters — only better.
  • Access to premium rewards.
  • Access to additional tasks.
  • Includes all Letter functionality. Double points for farming.
  • While inspiration is active, you'll earn ×10 points for gathering resources.
  • The cap on inspiration points has been raised to 20,000.

Seals and Standards Changes
Small Seals and Standards now grant more points.
The large Standard has been reduced from 50,000 to 40,000 points.
Seal and Standard prices have been equalized — but Standards now grant 20–25% more points than Seals at the same price.
Choose what suits you best: claim points quickly with Seals, or raise your Standard with pride and earn points in battle.

Code Upgrade Option
In the past, many exiles wanted to upgrade their Code mid-Hunt. Now you can — at a reduced cost.
If you are confident in your abilities and ready to complete the Hunt from beginning to end, purchasing the Scarlet Hunter Code: Master or Grandmaster from the outset is still the best deal. However, if you prefer to play it safe, you can keep your discount on upgrading the Code until the end of the Hunt.
IMPORTANT: The discount is only available in-game. It cannot be applied on the website, as we are currently unable to track which Code you’ve purchased there.

Seals and Standards Purchase Interface
From now on, you'll know exactly what you're getting when you purchase Seals or Standards — no more tedious math!
When you purchase Seals, you'll see how many points they'll give you and how many levels you can gain by using them.

Quartermaster's Stock Update
Starting with this update, the Quartermaster’s stock will be divided into two categories:
  • Fixed stock: 5 items, available throughout the entire Scarlet Hunt. This item pool is the same for all exiles and may include recipes you already know.
  • Random stock: 10 items, refreshed multiple times over the course of the Scarlet Hunt. The current cycle is 7-7-7-3 days — don't miss out!
Random recipes will be personalized, so you won't see the ones you've already unlocked.
1-Skull Locations Visual Update
Lubenia grows ever more resplendent!
The Pine Thicket and Stone Foothills locations have received visual updates.
These updates are still in testing. Currently, each location type has only one updated version, but we plan to expand this with greater visual variety.
These locations now also provide better resource returns.

Return of the Ancient Sepulcher
Remember update 6.6.6?
The Ancient Sepulcher returns!
Descend into the dark dungeon, battle the dead, and hang on to those strange Ghost King Coins you find along the way. Baldrick the Raven will gladly exchange them for something valuable.
The Ancient Sepulcher features three difficulty levels, which are unlocked using keys.

New Items

Scrolls of Healing
Scrolls of Healing allow you to heal both yourself and your allies.
There are four scroll levels:
  • Level 1 restores 50 HP.
  • Level 2 restores 100 HP.
  • Level 3 restores 250 HP.
  • Level 4 restores 500 HP.
Scrolls of Healing are particularly useful in the Ancient Sepulcher, where you'll no longer fight alone. We also plan more events with companions in the future.
You can find these scrolls:
  • In the Ancient Sepulcher
  • In the Cursed Observatory
  • Trade with Baldrick
  • Trade with Kerr
  • Among Scarlet Hunt rewards
  • In the "Ghost King's Nightmare" store pack

Berserker Poleaxe
A mighty two-handed weapon — and the first of its rarity you can craft yourself.
Berserker Poleaxe features:
  • The lower your HP, the higher your damage.
  • Chance to deal double damage.
  • No double damage while sneaking.
A new passive skill is introduced that boosts poleaxe damage.
Level 1–10 skill books are now available in the store, and levels 11–15 drop as card-game rewards.
Crafting this poleaxe requires steel. Currently, steel can only be found, but here's a hint: rack components now drop more frequently — and it's no coincidence. Stay tuned!

Ghost King Blade
A legendary two-handed sword. Only those who conquer Heroic or Legendary difficulty in the Ancient Sepulcher have a chance to obtain it.
Blade Effect: Restores HP based on damage dealt.

Design Case
Looks like someone dropped this while fleeing enemies. Lucky you — it’s a valuable find.
Opening the Case grants a random, yet-to-be-learned design. It will not include recipes for leveling-up collections, like the Direwolf Pen.
If you've already learned all available designs, you'll receive several Scrolls of Summoning the Undead (Lvl 4) instead.

Tailor's Shelf
Another storage unit for your valuables. This time — for fabric and leather.
Starts with 25 slots, but you can upgrade it up to 100.

Other Changes

Berserker Set Rework
A good armor set deserves refinement!
Each piece now grants: "Increases armor by 30 if there is more than one enemy nearby."
Full set bonus: "50% chance to avoid stun."

Sir Rihardt
Sir Rihardt returns to the Plaguelands — and he's brought work.
This time, expect tasks tied to the Ancient Sepulcher and its terrifying denizens.
Since Sir Rihardt is no longer part of the Scarlet Hunt and appears in camp of his own accord, his rewards no longer include Standards — but he does offer several skill books and a design case.

Sebastian Kerr
This esteemed knight is always ready to trade. Pay him a visit!

Stable Upgrade
Still can't find a bridle? Cleared the Dungeon of the Forsaken a thousand times already? Let Thalers speak for you! Spend a few coins to purchase the missing item.
