Exiles!

We're pleased to bring you the holiday update 4.5.0!

Locations are once again covered in snow, and castle interiors are decorated for Christmas. Winter is here, and it's full of dangers and holiday adventures!

Holiday Events in Lubenia

Your old friend Plague Santa has already made his list of naughty Exiles and is waiting for you in 2 and 3 skull locations. The Ice Walkers that keep him company will try to ruin the holiday, though, so avoid their frosty touch.

As you travel throughout the Plaguelands, you may encounter Frozen Treasures locations, where you'll find a mysterious column topped by a Christmas bell. Ring it and listen close. When you hear the sound of a chest of gifts falling from the sky, run towards it. Watch out: the noise will catch the attention of Ice Walkers too. Your task is to reach the present as fast as possible. There will be 7 total crates at these locations each day.

Take a closer look at snowdrifts. Tombs sprinkled with snow will appear at some locations. It's very possible that if you remove what's buried in them, you'll find something valuable. Just watch out for the rightful owners!

The Christmas Room is open! There's a special room in the Dungeon of the Forsaken full of gifts, and they're all for you! You just need to survive long enough to get them to the exit.

Stop by the Camp of Scarlet Angels to meet a rare visitor to these parts: Commander Claus. He's willing to trade lanterns you earn from holiday events for valuable prizes.

The Camp's Cook has two new recipes to delight you with! Don't miss out, since these holiday dishes are only to try now! They will no longer be available once the event ends.
Return of Halt

The first Great Monster, Halt Coldbane, has returned to the Plaguelands with an icy wind. She is wrathful and out for revenge for the damage done to her. We have prepared three difficulty levels of the event, for Exiles with different game experience.

Northern Wolf Armor will come in handy in the fight against Halt and her minions in the Frozen Forest. Remember that the boss's attacks deal both regular damage and elemental damage. You have a better chance of resisting it with insulated armor or some energizing Spiced Wine. Find Northern Wolf equipment and wine throughout Lubenia, or trade with the merchant at the Camp of Scarlet Angels to get them.

At the second difficulty level, once you enter the Frozen Forest, there's no way out. The location updates once per day.

Scarlet Hunt

The Fierce Freeze is soon to attack the cities of the Empire. The Scarlet Angels need your help to resist it.

The final Scarlet Hunt of the year is here, with a brand-new look. We've totally changed the interface and separated the Hunt into its own tab. Now you definitely won't forget your rewards!

All Exiles who have reached level 6 can enter the Hunt, which will last 3 weeks. Check the Raven Cage to find weekly and daily quests. Try to complete them within the allotted time. After completing the Hunt, you will have 3 days to collect your rewards. Each week, new and more difficult quests will be added.

Complete tasks to earn Hunt Points, raise your combat rank, and unlock access to rewards. You can earn points by killing any enemies and collecting resources. The more you play, the more rewards you'll get!

If you're having trouble reaching the reward you want, you can always use Scarlet Hunt Seals and Codes. To gain experience faster, use Emperor's Letters, which are available in the store. If you love completing lots of tasks, check out Mandates.

Hunt Rewards

Special items are available as rewards for your efforts:

Raven Crossbow. It both tears flesh and reduces your enemy's armor stat.

Ritual Scythe. A ritual weapon of the Nameless God himself. The attack power of this legendary item increases depending on the number of nearby enemies, and it can hit several of them at once.

Plus, the Berserker Set, a popular item among barbarian tribes. Anyone wearing this imposing armor made from bear skins is sure to look savage and fierce. It helps reduce damage from throwing weapons and blowguns.

The Imperial armorers will also share designs that you can use to craft new equipment: Helm with Aventail, Leather Crakows, Jambiya and Exile's Morning Star. You will keep the recipes for these items after the end of the conflict, and they will be available for crafting at any time.

Offers

During the holiday update, once a day you'll be able to play an additional card game with Cunning Scrooge. The rewards are different too: you can now win lanterns to trade with Commander Claus, as well as parts for crafting new equipment.

The Christmas horse, a favorite among players for its speed and appearance, is available again to trade for with merchants. Even if you die, and the Christmas horse has to return home alone, it consumes significantly fewer resources while traveling.

And of course, direwolves! During Christmas, you can find rare winter direwolflings in locations and get bonuses for breeding them. For 7 days after the update, wolflings will mature faster, and more rare puppies will be born. Additionally, direwolves will gain 30% more experience.

Themed Winter Items

A recipe for a beautiful and lush Christmas tree is available to all Exiles.

Check out the unique winter items in the store and create the perfect holiday atmosphere. If fancy interiors are your thing, you'll love the Ice Chest and Throne—and they definitely won't melt if you put them by the fireplace.

Christmas Packs will come in handy for combat and holiday feasting.

We also suggest you check out the selection of Christmas Panniers. It's much more festive to carry loot in a holiday bag!

Special winter direwolflings are also available for anyone who wants to adopt a unique pet.

Throughout the holiday update, you can collect pieces of the Christmas Armor Set. Impress other Exiles with your bright-red outfit and awesome dance skills!

Other Changes

— During the holiday event, you can take flaming plum puddings from storage daily, instead of regular barrels of honey. And don't forget to check your storage on the night of December 24-25 for gifts!

— New interface for Scarlet Hunt rewards.

— New languages added: Polish and Thai.
